Introducing the Yamaha P116 upright piano in Satin Alder

Finished in a light, satin Alder veneer finish our Yamaha P116 is certainly a rare find! The piano was manufactured here in the UK at the Kemble piano factory in c.2004 and after being a display piece on a Yamaha exhibition stand has been privately owned since.

It measures 116cm tall with traditionally styled cabinetry, a handsome mid-size upright which is a great choice for the home with a well balanced tone and a medium weight touch.

The piano previously had a factory fitted silent system which has been replaced with a celeste pedal as per the standard P116, allowing quiet practice, and has been freshly serviced by our technicians.

Designed to steal customers away from historic European brands, the UK-made P series uprights featured Austrian spruce Strunz soundboards along with hammers specially designed to produce a warmer tone than their Japanese-made counterparts, and were available in a selection of locally sourced wood veneer finishes, of which this is an example.
