We've made this cloche many times each time with the purpose of perfecting the pattern.
Finally we discovered the secret!
A lot of free hand work has to be done at the completion of the pineapples, that is nearly impossible to incorporate into a pattern.

It used to take me two weeks to make this cloche. Time to spot mistakes, and make corrections. Yes, it looks perfect, but only because mistakes are looked for, and corrected quickly.

Aiming for perfection, this is as good as it gets!
